The winery
Giovanni Dri Il Roncat is a family estate rooted in Ramandolo, in the hills of Friuli, where Giovanni has worked the land for over 40 harvests. The winery sits on ancient marl slopes at altitude - a natural cru where viticulture reaches its limits and where the microclimate is unrepeatable. Built by hand from brick, stone, wood and iron, the cantina reflects Giovanni's philosophy: no sophisticated technology, tradition as the guiding principle. Alongside wife Renata and his daughters, he produces Ramandolo, Picolit, Refosco, Schioppettino, Pignolo, Cabernet and Merlot.

Region
A cool northeastern frontier where Italian and Central European influences converge, producing some of Italy's most precise and intellectually rigorous white wines. Friulano, Ribolla Gialla and the international varieties grown on the Collio and Colli Orientali hillsides deliver aromatic clarity, mineral tension and exceptional food compatibility. The region also pioneered the natural wine movement through the skin-contact orange wine tradition. For B2B buyers, Friuli is a high-margin niche — small volumes and strong critical reputation.
