The winery
Muratori is a Franciacorta estate based at Villa Crespia, built on over twenty years of family winemaking. The winery descends 12 metres underground across four levels - grape intake and cold storage at ground level, pressing at 3m, skin maceration at 6m, and vinification and aging at 12m. Gravity-fed throughout, with no mechanical intervention on the must. This design prioritises temperature stability and minimal-impact winemaking. The approach combines modern technology with a non-interventionist philosophy to produce high-quality Franciacorta.

Region
A region of sharp contrasts — from the fog-draped Oltrepò Pavese plains to the glacier-carved moraines of Franciacorta and the steep granite terraces of Valtellina. Franciacorta has established itself as Italy's most serious sparkling appellation, produced exclusively by traditional method with extended ageing; Valtellina's Nebbiolo — grown at altitude on near-vertical slopes — yields wines of Alpine tension and extraordinary longevity. For B2B buyers, Lombardy offers two high-prestige, low-volume niches with strong positioning at the fine dining and premium retail level.
