The winery
Founded in 1937 by Giacomo Bottarelli in the heart of Valtenesi, on the western shores of Lake Garda, Bottarelli is a family-run winery with a long tradition of viticulture. Today, the estate is managed by the third generation, continuing a legacy built on passion, respect for the land, and a commitment to quality. Located in Picedo di Polpenazze del Garda, the winery cultivates approximately 15 hectares of vineyards and olive groves, producing wines that express the character of the Garda region. Combining tradition with modern winemaking techniques, Bottarelli crafts elegant wines that reflect the unique climate and terroir of Lake Garda.

Wine details
Made from Riesling Italico grown on the gentle hills surrounding Lake Garda, this wine is a fresh and elegant expression of the variety. Pale straw yellow in color, it opens with delicate aromas of green apple, pear and white flowers, complemented by subtle herbal nuances and light mineral notes. On the palate it is crisp and refreshing, with lively acidity, a slender structure and excellent drinkability. Ideal with appetizers, delicate pasta dishes, salads and both lake and sea fish specialties…
Region
A region of sharp contrasts — from the fog-draped Oltrepò Pavese plains to the glacier-carved moraines of Franciacorta and the steep granite terraces of Valtellina. Franciacorta has established itself as Italy's most serious sparkling appellation, produced exclusively by traditional method with extended ageing; Valtellina's Nebbiolo — grown at altitude on near-vertical slopes — yields wines of Alpine tension and extraordinary longevity. For B2B buyers, Lombardy offers two high-prestige, low-volume niches with strong positioning at the fine dining and premium retail level.
