The winery
Cantina Ruggieri was founded in Lizzano following the vision of Luigi Ruggieri, who in 1959 united local growers to enhance Salento’s native viticulture. Officially established with the 1961 harvest, the winery combines traditional farming with modern winemaking techniques. Today, with over 400 growers and 500 hectares of vineyards, Cantina Ruggieri produces wines rooted in the identity of Salento, focusing on quality, innovation, and the valorization of native grape varieties.

Wine details
Cantina Ruggieri Baylon 175 Bianco Frizzante is a fresh and easy-drinking sparkling white wine produced from Pinot Bianco, Malvasia Bianca, and Chardonnay grapes grown in Lizzano. After cold pre-maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in autoclave to develop its lively bubbles. Pale straw yellow with green reflections, it offers fruity, floral, and herbaceous aromas. Lightly off-dry, vibrant, and refreshing, it is ideal as an aperitif or pair…
