Cantina Ruggieri was founded in Lizzano following the vision of Luigi Ruggieri, who in 1959 united local growers to enhance Salento’s native viticulture. Officially established with the 1961 harvest, the winery combines traditional farming with modern winemaking techniques. Today, with over 400 growers and 500 hectares of vineyards, Cantina Ruggieri produces wines rooted in the identity of Salento, focusing on quality, innovation, and the valorization of native grape varieties.

Description
Manonera is an intense and full-bodied Primitivo di Manduria, expressing the warm and authentic character of Salento. Produced by Cantina Ruggieri from carefully selected hand-harvested grapes grown in the vineyards of Lizzano, the wine ages in French oak barrels and tonneaux to achieve depth and elegance.
