Cantina Ruggieri was founded in Lizzano following the vision of Luigi Ruggieri, who in 1959 united local growers to enhance Salento’s native viticulture. Officially established with the 1961 harvest, the winery combines traditional farming with modern winemaking techniques. Today, with over 400 growers and 500 hectares of vineyards, Cantina Ruggieri produces wines rooted in the identity of Salento, focusing on quality, innovation, and the valorization of native grape varieties.

Cantina Ruggieri Manorossa Negroamaro Lizzano DOP is an intense and elegant red wine produced from Negroamaro grapes grown in the vineyards of Salento. Hand-harvested grapes undergo long temperature-controlled maceration before aging in stainless steel and tonneaux to enhance structure and complexity.
