The winery
Villa Raiano was founded in 1996 in the former olive mill of the Basso family in Raiano, Serino in the province of Avellino. The winery, built in 2009 on a hill in San Michele di Serino, is surrounded by vineyards and chestnut woods and overlooks the Sabato Valley from its source at the foot of Mount Terminio to Altavilla Irpina. The Classici range is inspired by Irpinian tradition, blending grapes from different areas to achieve balance and expression.

Falanghina 100% from Torrecuso in the province of Benevento at 350 meters altitude, in the Beneventano IGT denomination. Guyot trained with 4500 vines per hectare and yields of 80 quintals per hectare. Clay limestone and sandy loam soils. Harvest between mid and late September. Soft pressing, static decantation and fermentation in stainless steel at 16°C with ageing in steel and bottling in February.
