Alessio Brandolini is a family-owned winery located in San Damiano al Colle, in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese wine region of northern Italy. Founded in 1873 by Carlo Brandolini, the estate has been passed down through four generations, preserving a deep connection to the land and a commitment to quality viticulture. Today, Alessio Brandolini, a trained winemaker and independent winegrower, leads the winery by combining tradition, technical expertise, and innovation to produce wines that express the character and heritage of Oltrepò Pavese.

Wine details
Il Bardughino is a Provincia di Pavia Bianco IGT made from 100% Malvasia grapes grown on the sun-exposed hills of San Damiano al Colle in Oltrepò Pavese. Produced only in the best vintages, the grapes are hand-harvested and fermented at very low temperatures to preserve their aromatic expression. Straw yellow in color, it reveals intense aromas of apricot, pear, and balsamic herbs. On the palate, it is balanced and warm, with good structure, freshness, and a long, persistent finish.
Region
A region of sharp contrasts — from the fog-draped Oltrepò Pavese plains to the glacier-carved moraines of Franciacorta and the steep granite terraces of Valtellina. Franciacorta has established itself as Italy's most serious sparkling appellation, produced exclusively by traditional method with extended ageing; Valtellina's Nebbiolo — grown at altitude on near-vertical slopes — yields wines of Alpine tension and extraordinary longevity. For B2B buyers, Lombardy offers two high-prestige, low-volume niches with strong positioning at the fine dining and premium retail level.
