The winery
AlbeaLand is a quality framework developed to set consistent production standards across a network of 12 selected partner growers focused on native varieties. The programme defines shared vineyard management guidelines - pruning, shoot selection, canopy management, green harvesting - alongside variety-specific protocols including double harvest for rosé production, traditional thinning for reds and hand-harvesting in crates with refrigerated transport. Growers are assessed against targets for technological, aromatic and polyphenolic ripeness, sugar levels, acidity and pH, meeting the standards of certified organic production.

Wine details
100% Susumaniello IGP Puglia, a native variety of Dalmatian origin long cultivated in the Brindisi area, known for its naturally high acidity and deep color despite low yields. 13 days pre- and post-fermentation maceration, aged in French barriques. Deep ruby; pleasant and delicate on the nose with refined aromatic balance. Elegant and fragrant on the palate with good structure. Pairs well with meat dishes, aged and fresh cheeses and cured meats.
Region
Old-vine Primitivo and Negroamaro deliver concentration, warmth and character from Italy's sun-drenched heel. Manduria and Salice Salentino lead on quality; Fiano Minutolo and Verdeca are emerging whites. Generous extraction, broad guest appeal and strong by-the-glass margins.
