The winery
Viberti is a family estate founded in 1923 in Vergne, Barolo, when Cavalier Antonio Viberti began vinifying Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo for guests of his Locanda del Buon Padre. Today Claudio Viberti, third generation, manages over 26 hectares across the Langhe with a team focused on single-vineyard expression. The estate produces Barolo from an assemblage of ten MGAs as well as single-vineyard wines from Monvigliero and San Lorenzo di Verduno. Recent investments include Timorasso in the Colli Tortonesi, Dolcetto at Dogliani and Barbera between Montegrosso d'Asti and Agliano.

The Langhe and Monferrato hills produce Nebbiolo of extraordinary depth and precision. Barolo and Barbaresco anchor premium lists; Barbera and Dolcetto offer immediate character. Arneis and Timorasso are gaining fast international momentum among sommeliers.
